Fees
What a payment costs
Section titled “What a payment costs”| Cost | Amount |
|---|---|
| Platform fee | $0.10, flat. The same for every amount, token and network. |
| Network cost | The gas to settle the payment, at cost with no markup. Less than $0.01 on Polygon. |
| Conversion cost | Only when the payer pays in a token other than your payout token: exchange fees and price impact, capped by your max conversion cost. |
There are no monthly fees, setup fees or percentage fees.
You receive: payment − $0.10 − network cost − conversion cost.
Each settlement in the payment object shows net,
platform_fee and network_cost separately.
Who pays the fees
Section titled “Who pays the fees”Set the default under Settings → Payment defaults, or per payment with fee_payer.
fee_payer | Payer sends | You receive |
|---|---|---|
merchant (default) | The price | The price minus the fees |
payer | The price plus a processing fee (platform fee + network cost) | The price, minus any conversion cost |
With payer, the payer sees a single “Processing fee” line. The conversion cost always stays
with you: it depends on the payout token you chose.
Example: a $25.00 payment on Polygon
Section titled “Example: a $25.00 payment on Polygon”| Payer pays with | Platform fee | Network cost | Conversion | You receive (approx.) |
